We’re currently seeking volunteers who can commit to working at least one day per week from 9 AM – 1 PM.
Requirements:
- Basic clerical skills (typing, adding, filing)
- Consistent availability and reliability
- Willingness to fill in for others when needed
- Friendly and professional attitude
🏢 Assistance Office Volunteers
Position: Receptionist
Tasks:
- Greeting clients and answering calls
- Assisting with applications and recordkeeping
- Light data entry and administrative support
🛍️ Thrift Store Volunteers
Tasks Include:
- Sorting and steaming donated clothing
- Cleaning and organizing merchandise
- Assisting customers and processing donations
- Creating social media posts about new arrivals
🥫 Food Pantry Volunteers
Tasks Include:
- Collecting and sorting food donations
- Organizing pantry shelves and food storage
- Tracking food inventory (basic spreadsheet use)
- Posting pantry updates on social media
