THRIFT SHOP

The thrift store’s mission is to help raise funds for families who can not pay bills or are going through financial hardship. The thrift store is open to anyone in the community whether you want to shop or donate, both will help our mission and hopefully you will have an outlet to get rid of some of your things and pass it along or you might find a great deal on a knick knack and that money goes directly to a family in need. The Garner area ministries raises enough funds each month to help over 300 families, on average.

All proceeds are used to serve our clients.

There are two ways we use donations:

 

1.Our Clients receive clothing and household items from our thrift store

at least once every three months. Our goal is to offer items more frequently, and we’ll be able to do so with the right donations!

2.  We resell acceptable donations to raise funds through the store,

we aren’t too picky about what people offer as donations.  We are sure that our shoppers will see treasures among your trash! And we always appreciate any thoughtful contribution. The more donations we receive, the more we can help our clients!

BABY ITEMS

toys, strollers, play pins, bottles, blankets, high chairs, and everything of this sort.

APPLIANCES

items likes toasters, microwaves, coffee pots,  etc.

CLOTHES

Shirts, Jackets, Gloves, Hats, Coats, Slacks, Pants, Jeans, Shoes, Blouses, Ties

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

folders, backpacks, calculators, rulers, paper, pens, highlighters, notebooks, etc.

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

cleaning items like mops,  vacuums, as well as storage bins, rugs, pictures, furniture and more.

TOILETRIES

hygiene items, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soaps, towels, wash cloths, etc

To receive assistance, clients must meet with an organization officer at our office location: 558 Village Court Garner, NC 27529

Potential Clients must meet these requirements

  • Be a resident of Garner, living in zip code 27529, 27603 or 27610
  • Call 919-772-9100 to verify eligibility
  • Have a picture ID, such as a passport, drivers licence or state ID card
  • Meet with an organization officer at our office location: 558 Village Court Garner, NC 27529
  • Proof of residence (signed lease or bill with name on it)
